This Cookie Policy explains how RangeO ("RangeO", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies.

It covers the RangeO website and business dashboard. The RangeO mobile app does not use cookies — it keeps a secure sign-in token in your device's protected storage instead — and it does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which are managed by your browser and work in much the same way. These let a site keep you signed in, remember short-lived choices, and function correctly as you move between pages.

2. Which cookies do we use?

RangeO uses only strictly necessary cookies and storage. We do not use functional, statistical, analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies, and we do not let third parties track you across other websites through our site.

Strictly necessary cookies and storage

• Sign-in and session — keep you logged in to the business dashboard and end your session securely when you log out.
• Security — protect against cross-site request forgery and other misuse of forms and requests.
• Sign-up progress — while you're setting up a business account, your progress through the steps is held in your browser's session storage so a refresh doesn't lose it. It is cleared when you finish or close the tab.

Because these are strictly necessary for the website to work, they don't require your consent, and the dashboard can't be used with them blocked.

3. Third-party cookies

RangeO's own website does not set third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

When you pay for a business subscription, checkout is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention and to process the payment; these are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. RangeO never receives your full card details.

4. Your choices

Because RangeO uses only strictly necessary cookies, there is no cookie banner and no settings panel — there is nothing optional to turn on or off.

You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block the sign-in and security cookies, you won't be able to log in to the business dashboard.

5. Retention

• Session storage is deleted when you close the browser tab.
• Sign-in cookies last for the length of your login session — they refresh while you keep using the dashboard and expire after a period of inactivity, after which you'll be asked to log in again.

6. Changes to this policy

If RangeO later introduces analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and add a consent mechanism before any such cookies are set.
